NEWSLETTER                JUNE 2015   SPUWELD                  The Weld Volume Calculator Model which is designed to import drawings or the calculator as the launching option. We have also launched the Weld Volume Calculator Model which can help in the identifying the joints for which we need to carry out the exercise which is done manually by the engineers in the industry or the tools available on the net allow to calculate for one joint at a time.             We have provided with the option to go through the loop as many time as needed by the engineer which is captured at the beginning of the run which helps the software as many times as needed. It follows the process of selecting the welding methods like SMAW, GMAW or SAW and then we can select the weld preparation method that is depicted by the symbols which is easy to understand. Then selected symbol is shown on the left side with the dimensions which are mandatory shown in the diagram as well helping the engineer to make the calculations process easy. If we click finish button it will bring up the table which number of the joints for which we have calculated the weld volume and can also be mailed to the logged in user email for the backup purpose for the project. After selecting the welding process we can select the type of the weld preparation to be carried out in this regard. We have shown some of enlisted major types which may be expanded on the custom requirement in this regard. After the selection of the welding process, the weld preparation is selected and we can get the block showing the typical diagram for the ease of the understanding also relating to the dimensions to be keyed for the weld volume calculation The Software has the ability to calculate the data automatically the following aspects are  listed  Weld Area and Weld Volume Process details Timing Costing and Required man hours The Software can also read the weld symbols from an AutoCAD drawing automatically CALL US TODAY , WE ASSURE YOU ,  YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.
